Which procedures can be included?
Abdomen
Tummy tuck, muscle repair when indicated, and selected liposuction.
Breasts
Breast lift, augmentation, reduction or a combination based on anatomy.
Waist and torso
Limited contouring may be combined when surgical scope remains appropriate.
Staged treatment
Areas may be divided across separate operations to reduce total operative burden.
How much surgery is too much?
There is no responsible universal number of procedures or hours that applies to every patient. Risk rises with surgical extent, duration, blood loss, fluid shifts, immobility and medical factors. A surgeon may decline or stage a requested combination even when each individual procedure might otherwise be possible.
Who may not be ready?
- Patients planning another pregnancy soon
- Patients whose weight is still changing significantly
- People who smoke or use nicotine without an agreed cessation plan
- Patients with uncontrolled medical conditions or anaemia
- Anyone without adequate recovery support
- Patients expecting weight loss rather than contour improvement
Recovery planning
Combined breast and abdominal surgery can make standing, sleeping, dressing and personal care difficult in the early period. Patients may need assistance, compression garments, drain management and a structured mobility plan. Early walking may reduce immobility risks, but activity must follow the surgeon’s instructions.

Combined vs staged surgery
Frequently asked questions
Is a mummy makeover one operation?
It can be one combined operation or a staged plan. The term does not guarantee a fixed procedure list.
Can I add a BBL?
Adding procedures changes risk, positioning and recovery. It requires a specific safety assessment and may not be advised.
How long should I stay in Turkey?
The duration depends on surgery, drains, mobility and follow-up findings; it should be set by the surgical team.
Should my weight be stable?
Stable weight generally supports more predictable planning and results.
