Understand who provides anaesthesia, what monitoring is used and which escalation arrangements are available.
Infection control
Ask how sterilisation, medicines, implants, records and postoperative observation are managed.
Emergency capability
Know how unexpected bleeding, breathing difficulty, allergic reaction or another urgent complication would be handled.
Discharge process
Written instructions, medicines, warning signs and responsible contact details should be provided before leaving.
Follow-up access
The plan should identify reviews in Istanbul and how appropriate local care is accessed after travel.

Verification
Ask for current, treatment-specific information
